Login Problems
If you're unable to sign in to your Mainstream account, the steps below will resolve the most common login issues.
Step 1: Verify Your Login Credentials
Before troubleshooting, make sure:
- Your username is entered correctly.
- Your password is entered correctly.
- There are no extra spaces before or after your username or password.
- Your subscription is active.
If you cannot locate your login information, please check your original welcome email or previous correspondence from Mainstream.
Step 2: Restart the App
Completely close the Mainstream app and reopen it.
If you're using a Firestick or Android TV device, you may also want to restart the device before attempting to sign in again.
Step 3: Check Your Internet Connection
Ensure your device has an active internet connection.
If other apps are also having connection issues, restart your modem/router before trying again.
Step 4: Firestick & Android TV Users
Some internet providers may block or restrict certain connections used by streaming applications.
If you are using a Firestick or Android TV and are unable to sign in, using a VPN may resolve the issue.

- Device being used (Firestick, Android TV, Roku, etc.)
- Any error message displayed
- Whether you're using a VPN
- The approximate time the issue occurred
